Young Voices Speaking for the Planet

The future of our planet depends on the choices we make today. As environmental concerns continue to rise in 2026, the world stands at a critical point, with global temperatures nearing the 1.5°C threshold. This makes the need for conscious action and sustainable living more urgent than ever. Observed annually on April 22, Earth Day serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve the environment for generations to come.

In this spirit, DBDOC has been actively fostering environmental awareness among children by transforming learning into meaningful engagement. This year’s Earth Day initiatives were thoughtfully designed to educate and inspire young minds about pressing issues such as pollution, climate change, and ecosystem conservation.

Across our centres, children participated enthusiastically in a variety of activities including tree planting, eco-themed art, storytelling sessions, and environmental performances. These experiences not only encouraged creativity but also helped children develop a deeper connection with nature.

Beyond the celebrations, the focus remains on building lasting habits. By promoting practices like waste reduction, conservation of natural resources, and the importance of clean energy, we are guiding children towards a more sustainable way of life. Through these efforts, we aim to nurture responsible individuals who will contribute to a greener, healthier future for all.
