The “Write for Good” workshop, spanning four successful days, was organized by Don Bosco Development Office Calcutta in collaboration with Bosco Net. It brought together seventeen participants across the province of Kolkata and Dimapur, focused on enhancing project-writing skills for proposals
The event commenced with the prayer and ceremonial lighting of lamp, graced by esteemed dignitaries: Rev. Dr. Joseph Pauria, Provincial, Salesian Province Kolkata; Rev. Fr. Santhanam Ubagaram, Director of Bosco Net; and Rev. Fr. Jijo John, Economer, Salesian Province Kolkata. The dignitaries emphasized on the importance of crafting persuasive and professional proposals for sustainable social causes.
Throughout the workshop, attendees received extensive guidance on developing convincing project proposals, encompassing elements such as Problem Tree analysis, Log frame, Key Results Chain, and all associated stages up to budgeting. Over the course of the workshop, participants incrementally refined their proposals, gaining valuable insights. The session also addressed the reasons for project rejection, donor requirements, and proposal-writing tips.
The workshop wrapped up with the presentation of certificates, accompanied by sincere gratitude towards Mr. Louis Manohar recognizing his invaluable and insightful dedication in helping to achieve the workshop’s objective of “Write for Good.”
