Children from Barapahari Don Bosco Planting Trees on Save Earth Day

“Preserve Our Earth” resonates as a potent rallying cry, urging us to take immediate action to safeguard our world from the brink of devastation. Each 22nd of April commemorates Earth Day, a pivotal occasion for raising awareness about environmental challenges. Ensuring a sustainable climate demands a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

DBDOC has embarked on a noble quest to educate children on the perils of pollution and its detrimental impact on our environment and climate.

Tree-planting sessions, creative competitions, and captivating environmental-themed dance and dramas are the engaging activities orchestrated across all DBDOC centers. These initiatives are hailed as potent tools in our arsenal to protect our planet and secure a prosperous legacy for posterity. Through a diverse array of educational mediums, children are imbued with the ethos of Earth preservation.

Embracing eco-conscious choices, we actively combat the scourge of global warming, nurturing a collective effort to mitigate its effects. By instilling in our children the values of environmental stewardship, forest conservation, and pollution reduction, we sow the seeds for a safer world, paving the path towards a sustainable future for all.
