Don Bosco Development Society, Culcutta (DBDOC) is committed to enhancing the quality of life of people from marginalized and vulnerable communities, by empowering them and catalyzing change through innovative and sustainable solutions. We consistently work to realize this mission in collaboration and partnership with our stakeholders, including governments, corporates, past pupils, individuals and the community. With a profound intent and commitment to make a difference, DBDOC critically looks at the cause as well as the consequences and then develops a holistic model with an integrated approach which are sustainable, replicable and scalable to address the multifaceted development challenges of marginalized communities.

Being an organization of Don Bosco family, there is no doubt about that youth particularly, who are at risk, are always close to our heart. But when the whole community around them is struggling with multidimensional social issues and challenges, it is equally important to intervene in other causes that hinder the development of the community at large. We expanded our areas of interventions to education, food security, health and nutrition, tribal development, women empowerment, green energy and prison ministry. With this mission, we are not only impacting the lives of people and communities through sustainable programs but at the same time contributing towards the larger development goals.
