The United Nations says access to energy is central to nearly every major challenge and opportunity the world faces today, but around 800 million people still live without access to electricity today.
That is why DBDOC is intervening in renewable energy programs where we can help the most vulnerable people, mainly in Kolkata province. We support the unreached community with renewable-energy solutions that put people living in poverty at the center of their work, making renewable-energy access easier, quicker, more affordable, cleaner and more inclusive. Education is crucial to promote climate action. It helps people understand and address the impacts of the climate crisis, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed to act as agents of change. To address this cause, DBDOC is implementing climate action programs to sensitize children in educational institutions on various aspects of climate change, its causes, impacts and efforts to mitigating the challenges.
