The Second Session of Empowering Minds by the Psychological Counselor of FADV Asia office – Mrs. Bidisha Barman was scheduled on 21^st & 22^nd November, 2022. The Session aimed in equipping the teachers with various tools and understanding to enrich themselves in acquiring Psychological Wellbeing of the children.

The important topics of Mindfulness, Empathy, Active Listening and Anger Management was discussed to train the teachers in dealing with their students effectively.The workshop covered important aspects on the Methods of Teaching, Types of Learners &Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The detailed activity based interactive discussion on these segments enrich the teachers in assessing their students and planning, designing and delivering their curriculum effectively.

The sensitive topic of Good and Bad Touch was discussed at length and the measures to deal with it while interacting with the children. Type of Parents, their expectation from their wards and the effects of these expectations on children were well explained. This would help the teachers to counsel the parents as and when required ensuring a better mental health of the Child.
