“Every child is an artist,” following the words of Pablo Picasso, DBDOC aimed to explore the creative potential in the young minds of our children. On 12th of December, DBDOC conducted an inter-house drawing and painting competition at Nitka Don Bosco. The themes for the competition were “A Landscape Scenery “for class II to class IV, “Favorite Festival “for class V to Class VII, and “Child labor “for class VIII-class X.
The program commenced with motivational words from the center-in-charge. Br. Roy beautifully articulated how art knows no language and encompasses all boundaries. He expressed his best wishes to all the budding artists, and boosted their morale.
The center saw 450 zealous participants from Classes II to X. The children displayed their creative skills, and the result was amazing artwork presented by them. The center-in-charge judged the competition. DBDOC awarded the winners with certificate and prizes on the day of the prize distribution ceremony. This fun-filled activity witnessed enthusiastic participation by all students exhibiting their talents.
