Every child should have a safe and caring environment to grow and reach their full potential. The Children Home of DBDOC provides not only an ideal ambiance and holistic nurture to the rescued and vulnerable children so that they join the social mainstream and carve out their own identity but also a conducive environment to pursue areas of extracurricular interest over and above the academic pursuits.

The children who stay in Night Shelter are counselled and observed during their stay in the Night Shelters. Based on their attitude and willingness, DBDOC accommodates them in Children Home according to their age and gender to provide a nurturing and stable environment.  In this ‘Home away from Home’, they gets the basic necessities like safe place to stay, nutritious food to eat and access to education and medical care. DBDOC helps them to access to education and vocational training as per the individual interest to empower and enable them to break the cycle of poverty. These children are also engaged in recreational activities, with scope for creative expression and physical fitness to grow with healthy bodies and minds.
