Christmas is celebration of God’s ultimate gift to the world: the birth of Jesus – the Christ Child.
20th December was a day to remember for Nitika Don Bosco as it held the Pre-Christmas Celebration for marginalized children. The center wore a festive look with a beautifully decorated Crib. Through dance and song, the children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus.
The essence of Christmas was alive when Fathers sang Christmas Carol for these little lives. The boundless joy of the festivity was amply visible on their faces when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them.
The delightful celebration included children in party dresses, dancing, and sharing the merriment. The Christmas spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots while distributing school bags as Christmas gifts, and refreshments to them. God’s divine involvement in the lives of people holds the true meaning of Christmas and its glorious celebration.
