Educating Children about the significance of Yoga.

International Yoga Day is commemorated worldwide on 21st June, to raise awareness about the ancient practice of yoga and to celebrate its physical and spiritual benefits. Yoga plays a crucial role in promoting relaxation, both for the mind and body, while also bolstering the immune system.

On this day, various Don Bosco centers joined in celebrating the International Yoga Day. The event commenced with emphasizing the significance of Yoga Day .Warm-up exercises were conducted, and all the students actively participated in practicing and performing sitting and standing asan. Throughout the session, the instructors highlighted the importance and benefits of each posture, encouraging students to incorporate regular yoga practice into their daily routines for improved fitness and concentration. To deepen the understanding of yoga’s importance, faculties, staff, and children received guidance on achieving a harmonious balance between the body and mind through yoga practice.

The 9th International Yoga Day celebration at Don Bosco centers fostered a sense of wellness and unity. By embracing yoga, participants gained a deeper understanding of its transformative power, both physically and mentally. This event served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and finding balance within oneself. Don Bosco centers continue to inspire and empower individuals to prioritize their well-being through the practice of yoga.
